The Dignified Storytelling Handbook

 

At the end of 2021, Dignified Storytelling released a handbook to promote storytelling practices that are grounded in the human right to dignity. The handbook is intended for “everyone who is a storyteller or who works with storytellers, particularly those telling stories within development and humanitarian contexts.” They offer 10 guidelines for practitioners and guidance on further learning.

The Photography Ethics Centre is featured on pages 101-102. Photography Ethics Centre advisor Smita Sharma is featured on pages 97-98 for her work on sexual violence in India.
